Allison Mecum serves as Grants Manager for the Ohio Association of Community Colleges. In this role, she collaborates with OACC staff and outside partners to ensure grant compliance. Other grant management tasks include: assisting with the development of and editing of grant proposals, budgets, and reports, monitoring grant budgets, and managing contracts with funders and with consultants engaged with OACC. Other operational tasks include: collaborating with OACC staff to keep internal policies and procedures up to date, assisting with the planning of various events as well as leading the planning for an annual student recognition event, and researching various higher education topics related to student success.
Allison lives in Westerville with her husband, Mark, and their two children, Natalie and Elliott. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Criminology from Ohio University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from The Ohio State University.
