OACC Leadership
The OACC is a regional council of governments organized under Chapter 167 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Agreement to Create a Regional Council of Governments, originally adopted on May 15, 1993, and the Association Bylaws serve as the foundational documents governing the work of the organization.
The Association focuses on the issues impacting Ohio’s 23 community and technical colleges, and through an open dialogue with trustees and presidents, adapts solutions to fit the social, educational and political landscape in the state.
OACC’s leading authority is the Governing Board, followed by the Executive Committee. Key advisory committees also provide leadership and guidance to the OACC, including the Presidents Committee and other affiliated councils. See below for more information on the governing bodies.
